Now, for the most wonderful truth of all: He bought you for the very reason that you are not worthy. He did not buy you for what you were or are now worth, but for what He could make of you. He says: “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake.” Isaiah 43:25. We have no righteousness.
Surely all doubt as to acceptance with God ought to be set at rest. But it is not. The evil heart of unbelief still suggests doubts.
