It may be objected, “It’s OK for Christ to experience corporate repentance, but we’ve no need for the experience. All we need to get into the Kingdom is concern for ourselves.” I would answer in the words of Scripture, “Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus.” He will have a people who will “follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth,” and who will grow up into maturity in Him. Corporate repentance will become love in action and will transform the entire church into a dynamo of Christ-like love.
