The Third Angel’s Message and the Faith of Jesus

In Christ, by the faith of Jesus, the believer keeps the commandments of God, which is the righteousness of God. Thus the keeping of the commandments of God is the free gift of His righteousness received solely by the faith of Jesus - the very faith that Jesus excercised on earth to overcome the world.

This is an unforgetable 'Collection' on the faith of Jesus!

Having "faith in Jesus," is not the same as having the "faith of Jesus."

"Here are those who have endured to the end; who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."  Revelation 14.12

1891 Sermons on Romans

"The flesh is just the same in a converted man that it is in a sinner, but the difference is that now it has no power, since the man yields to the Spirit, which controls the flesh."

Waggoner on Romans

This book is in the process of being put onto this site.  There are 9 of the 16 chapters up right now. (11-1-08)

This Book on Romans was originally published as individual articles in The Signs of the Times.  These articles date from October, 1895 through September , 1896.

The greatest danger is to come to this study with ideas already formed in the mind.  The word of God must put the ideas into our mind and also form them - we are not to accept "teachings" or "doctrines" unless we were given them from the scriptures.

The Everlasting Covenant

Before the 47 articles on the Ecverlasting Covenant were printed in book form, they ran in "The Present Truth", a paper Waggoner was the editor of. These articles began on May 7, 1896 and ended on May 27, 1897.

Christ and His Righteousness

The mystery of the crucifixation and the ressurection is but the mystery of the incarnation.  We cannot understand how Christ could be God and still become man for our sake.  It should be sufficient for us to accept as true those things which God has revealed, without stumbling over things that the mind of an angel cannot fathom.

The Glad Tidings

God has wrought out salvation for every man, and has given it to him; but the majority spurn it and throw it away.  The judgment will reveal the fact that full salvation was given to every man and that the lost have deliberately thrown away their birthright possession.  (From Chapter 1)

The Consecrarted Way

O that consecrated way! Consecrated by His temptations and sufferings, by His prayers and tears, by His holy living and sacrificial dying, by His triumphant resurrection and glorious ascension, and by His triumphal entry into the holiest of all, at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens!
